Daniela Ribeiro was born in 1972. Ribeiro studied at the French Lycée in Angola. In the 80s, she went to live in Paris where she continued her studies. In 1993, she took a course in Design, Image and Computer Creation in Portugal. She graduated in International Relations at the Lusíada University, Lisbon in 1998 and in 2000; she enrolled in a painting course at the Fine Arts Society in Lisbon (Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes.) In 2006, she was accepted at Ar.Co on a course in sculpture. Ribeiro specialised in Resin and Silicon Moulds at the Pascal Rosier School in Paris. In 2005, Ribeiro established the ArtinPark Association, which aims to foster and nurture young artists at the beginning stages of their career. In 2008, she had her first solo exhibition at the António Prates Gallery and participated in ARTE LISBOA. In 2009, she exhibited for the first time in Angola, and in 2010, she was invited to exhibit at the Portuguese Communications Foundation in Lisbon. Her work has been widely exhibited in Portugal and she has had exhibitions in London, Spain and Angola.
